shambolic
В 1950-е гг. это слово являлось соединением слов sham (поддельный, фиктивный, фальшивый, мнимый, притворный) и symbolic (символический, знаменательный). Оно было отрицательным эпитетом для характеристики претенциозных произведений искусства и живописи. В настоящее время это слово является комбинацией слова shambles (развалины, руины) и суффикса - olic и означает «беспорядочный», «хаотичный», «находящийся в состоянии полного разброда».
